In 2023, Purkay Labs proudly launched the Thermal Survey Service, revolutionizing how data center operators benchmark their facilities. This innovative service includes three custom packages:
Baseline Thermal Surveys: Providing a foundational assessment of data center thermal conditions.
Time-Trend Thermal Surveys: Offering insights into thermal trends over time, facilitating proactive management.
Emergency Response Thermal Surveys: Enabling rapid, targeted responses during critical situations.
Each package is meticulously designed to provide unparalleled insights into data center environments, empowering operators to make informed decisions for optimal efficiency and performance.
New Blog Series - "Keeping Your Cool" with Gregg Haley:
In 2023, we launched an insightful blog series titled "Keeping Your Cool," featuring our Principal Consultant, Gregg Haley. With over 30 years of leadership experience in data centers and telecommunications, Gregg shared his expertise in simple cooling optimization strategies. As a former busy data center operator and Senior Director of Data Center Operations - Global for Limelight Networks, Gregg delved into data center assessment and optimization strategies, showcasing how businesses can reduce operating expenses by identifying energy conservation opportunities. His valuable insights, coupled with a certification in Business Continuity Planning, position Gregg as an industry expert and our Principal Consultant at Purkay Labs.
New Report Export Feature:
Introducing the latest enhancement to our offerings – the "Report" generator. Now available in Audit-Mate 2.0 V2.41 and WIFI-Mate 2.0 V2.41, this feature empowers users to effortlessly share their AUDIT-BUDDY data with a single click. Each report is custom and pre-organized, containing comprehensive details about the scan, data highlights (max/min), and all relevant graphs, including static heat maps and trend graphs. Say goodbye to complexities as this feature eliminates the need for the AUDIT-MATE program when sharing critical information.
Sustainability Report - Impact Calculator:
Our commitment to sustainability remains unwavering, and in 2023, we took a step further by introducing an Impact calculator to our efficiency dashboards. Users can now quantify the impact of airflow (cooling) waste on their OpEx, Carbon footprint, and PUE. This addition builds on our core feature, allowing users to leverage temperature and humidity data to calculate the airflow reaching and cooling their servers. Released in Audit-Mate 2.0 V2.41 and WIFI-Mate 2.0 V2.41, this feature reinforces our dedication to environmentally conscious data center management.
Conference Sponsorship:
As part of our ongoing commitment to industry engagement, Purkay Labs sponsored the 7x24 National Fall Conference in Grapevine, Texas, from October 8 to 11. This was followed by the Regional Conference at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ, on October 18-19. The journey concluded with the New England Chapter Tech Forum in Boston, MA, hosted at Wayfair. Chief Product Officer, Aheli Purkayastha, moderated a session on volunteer engagement at the regional show as well as led the Tech Forum as President of the 7x24 New England Chapter.
